Functional Training
We do not move in one plane, so why would we train in one? Every day activities require you to be strong and balanced. ‘Functional Training’ conditions you to be functionally strong and helps prevents injury. It will assist with things as simple as; starting the lawn mower, shoveling snow, carrying groceries and preventing a fall on slippery ice; and as complex as increasing athletic performance. Don’t just be strong, be functionally strong, for life-specific needs. Traditional machines only allow for limited movement and do not test your balance, whereas, the integration of balls, cables and bands will not only make your workout more exciting, but they will create a functional body! |
