Connie One on One My passion for fitness, active living and leading a healthy lifestyle, along with my dedication to helping others has made a career in Personal Training and Lifestyle Management an obvious choice. I have been involved in the fitness industry for over a decade. My passion has taken me from physiotherapy assistant work, athletic therapy, personal training of elite athletes, managing teams of Personal Trainers in two of Canada's largest Health and Fitness clubs to my dream of being a Studio owner and operator. I train because I love to, and I will make you love to also. I am a former commercial health club Personal Trainer and Personal Training Manager, having trained and managed at The Sports Clubs of Canada and GoodLife Fitness. My many years of experience in the Health Club industry have taught me the importance of developing a non-intimidating, non-crowded, professional environment to train in. I currently instruct and certify Personal Training candidates through CanFitPro, and am a Part Time Professor for Algonquin College, having taught Fitness and Wellness for the Police Foundations Program and for the Canadian Armed Forces. I am also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, with one of the top certifying bodies in the world, The National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). I believe in optimizing workouts and making your workout time more valuable. Teaching proper form, technique and safety, along with motivation and fun, and of course getting results, are skills I possess as a Professional Personal Trainer. I will help you reach your full potential, to be the best you want to be, both physically and mentally. I thrive on helping others attain their personal goals through individualized programs, and to see the joy and satisfaction once goals are accomplished and surpassed. After growing up in Ottawa, I moved to Toronto where I expanded my career as a Personal Trainer, gaining a variety of experience in training for general fitness to fitness testing of NHL athletes. I have had much success in the development of strength, endurance, weight loss, muscle mass gain, flexibility and postural improvements, and have helped many people accomplish things they never thought were possible. I am now back in Ottawa, where I continue to help create healthy lifestyles and fit bodies, one body at a time! Connie is a provider of education for Ottawa's 'A' Channel "Today's the Day" segments with Lianne Laing. Education and Certifications:
